Simulator Connectivity
Learn how to diagnose and resolve common simulator connectivity issues.
Unable to establish connection with X-Plane
Ensure you have the ELEVATEX X-Plane plugin installed which can be found under SettingsPlugins.
We recommend following the following steps before opening a support ticket in our Discord.
- Do not run the simulator as an administrator. If the simulator is running with elevated privileges while ELEVATEX is not, ELEVATEX will be unable to connect to it.
- Ensure Windows User Account Control (UAC) is configured properly. Otherwise, applications may unintentionally run with administrator privileges, resulting in elevation-related connection issues.
- Press the Windows key and search for "Change User Account Control settings" or "UAC".
- Ensure the slider is set to the second-highest level: "Notify me only when apps try to make changes to my computer (default)".
- If the problem persists, please open a support ticket for further investigation.
