Common questions about ELEVATEX and how it works.
Our current framework does not support a globe view like V1. It is built on Mapbox, which can show a globe, but Mapbox struggles with data that updates every second. That causes high CPU usage and noticeable lag.
We do not plan to bring globe mode back until this improves. It is technically possible, but the performance cost is too high. A smooth, responsive map comes first.
XBOX support is planned. There is no release date yet.
Yes. FSX needs a dedicated launch shortcut so ELEVATEX starts in FSX mode.

Create a shortcut to the ELEVATEX executable (or copy your existing one).

Right-click the shortcut and open Properties.

In the Target field, append
--fsxafter the path (keep a space before the flag).Example:
"C:\Path\To\ELEVATEX.exe" --fsx -
Click Apply, then OK.

Always start ELEVATEX from this shortcut when you fly in FSX.
Install the FSX plugin under SettingsPlugins if you have not already.
