Known Issues

Find information about known application issues, including affected features, possible causes, and recommended workarounds while permanent fixes are being developed.

Connectivity

ELEVATEX requires a stable internet connection. While short interruptions are generally not a problem, extended connection losses may disrupt tracking.

Application not connecting and staying on "no connection".

The cause of this can have many reasons, ranging from false positive antivirus detections on our connector elevatex-connect-x86.exe and/or elevatex-connect-x64.exe to corrupted Windows libraries.
We recommend following the following steps before opening a support ticket in our Discord.
  • Install the latest C++ Redistributables. To avoid conflicts between different versions, please uninstall any older versions first by searching for “C++” in your installed programs list and removing any outdated redistributable packages.
  • If Microsoft OneDrive is installed, ensure it is properly synced, as ELEVATEX uses an autosave folder located in documents that must remain accessible.

Tracking

Showing connected to simulator, but telemetry has "dashes".

This is caused by the compiled WASM by the simulator. The solution is to remove the elevatex-wasm-bridge folder under one of the following directories. Make sure the simulator is closed when removing the folder.
You can easily navigate to these directories by pressing WIN + R and pasting in one of the paths below depending on your installation and simulator.

Aerosoft A340-600

This aircraft will sporadically send events to the sim that the engines have all been shut down. This can cause flights to be completed prematurely.

Workaround: Turn off Automatically Stop Tracking under SettingsAutomation when using this aircraft.
